Re-opening Visor Services
Visitor services offered by the department will be restarted from 15th June 2010 in a phased-out manner. The details are as follows.

The reassignment will be done first come first serve basis and without any extra charge. The visitors can get their reservations reassigned to any date within 01.07.2020 and 31.12.2020. Facilitation of Visitor Services

Day visitor permits and bungalow reservations can be obtained via https://dwc.lankagate.gov.lk and https://dwc.lankagate.gov.lk/DWCEpermitApp/homeAction.action. Online permits holders must keep a printed copy of the reservation while entering the park. No person without the permit will be allowed to enter.

The public can view the number of vehicles entered to the park either using the android app “NPTraffic” (can be downloaded from http://www.dwc.gov.lk) or visiting http://www.dwc.gov.lk/?page_id=412
Health and Safety
All the directives and guidelines approved by the Government regarding COVID-19 Pandemic and the rules enforced by the Department must be strictly followed by the Departmental Staff, Visitors, Guides, and Safari Drivers. Individuals and groups who are not complying with the measures will not be provided with visitor facilities.

Please visit above site to buy permits online to enter main national parks of Sri Lanka. Yala both gates are included. It will be easy for you.
